What to Expect

At Polka Dot Tots we LOVE a good bargain (who doesn't?!) and assume you do too! That's why we are committed to bringing you just that- high quality new and used children's items (and more) at a fraction of the price you'd find at retail stores. Each item we sell is thoroughly checked for holes, damage, staining, pilling and anything that would make it undesirable to buy. We figure that if we wouldn't buy it in it's current condition, neither will you! We are all about kids so please bring yours with you but keep a close eye as the sale can get hectic at times! Here's a list of just some of the items you will find at our sale:

• Children's clothing, shoes, costumes and accessories

• Toys, Books and DVDs

• Blankets, crib sheets

• Children's Equipment (strollers, highchairs, pack-n-play, etc.)

• Pretty much anything related to children!

Also, If you have some of these items you would like to clear out of your closet, garage, or basement, be sure to look into consigning your items with us. While we keep the sale as organized and efficient as possible it can get pretty hectic so we've put together some tips to help make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

Helpful Tips to Make Your Shopping Experience Great: 

• If you decide not to purchase an item, just hand them to us so we can put it back where it belongs.
  
• If you are bringing children, please do not allow them to play with toys unattended. We need to protect our consignors' items.
  
• When purchasing a large item, see an attendant who will mark the item as sold and place it in a holding area until you are ready to take the tag to checkout along with your other items.
  
• Our sale happens twice a year in Spring and Fall and generally goes from Friday - Sunday with a 1/2 price discount typically on the last day of the sale.

 Information About Children and Strollers at the Sale

Children are welcome at the sale. Please be aware that the sale will be very busy and crowded with other shoppers. Because your children’s safety is very important to us, please keep your children with you at all times while you are shopping. We ask that you not bring personal toys to the sale as they can get confused with Polka Dot Tots merchandise. We also ask that your children not open and or play with toys, books, and other items from the sale floor while you are shopping. We want all shoppers to be able to see all available inventory for sale as they are packaged and tagged by their respective consignor. Please note that should an item become damaged while in you or your child's you are responsible for the purchase of the item.  This is only fair to the consignor who is selling the item(s). We thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Personal strollers will be tagged at entrance into the sale. We ask that you be mindful in bringing your stroller to the sale as it is very busy and there is minimal room to maneuver. The safety of all our shoppers is of upmost concern. We will also tag all carriers, slings, and other personal items that shoppers bring in so that they are not confused with merchandise from the sale. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Hold Items

We will offer a holding area. The holding area is for larger items or for multiple items that can’t be carried. There are so many great items at amazingly LOW prices that often shoppers simply can’t carry everything around while they continue to shop.  Please note that there is a 1 hour time limit on items placed in the holding area. Also, please be mindful that the holding area is for items that you intend to purchase. We want to be fair to all of our shoppers by making inventory available for everyone to view and to have the chance to purchase. It is our policy to return all items to the sale floor at the end of the day. No items will be held over night or throughout the day for returning customers.  Items are sold on a first come first shop basis.

Payment Information

Accepted Forms of Payment

We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard.  We appreciate cash payments, especially for totals under $10.  We do not accept personal checks.

Be advised that all sales are final.

We are sorry but ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  We do not accept any returns or exchanges so please inspect and consider your purchases carefully before checking out.
